LPA Open 2024, 26-28 April - 300% TGP - Now 120 players

Hi all,

We are happy to invite you to the 13th edition of LPA Open which is a group matchplay tournament in “Pinburgh style”. It takes place April 26-28 2024 and will be Swedens qualifying tournament for the ECS-playoff and a part of Stern Pro Circuit with a 300% TGP. Both qualification and playoff are group matchplay with machines from different eras (see link below for tournament details). The registration opens 31 January at 6 pm (see info below).

HIGHLIGHTS:

- Swedens qualification tournament for the ECS playoff and a Stern Pro Circuit event.

- Qualification seven rounds of 4-player matches, 3 games/round.

- The three games played in each round are from different era, Stern (2007-), Bally/Williams (1991-) and Classics (1978-81).

- 24 players to playoff where position 1-8 receive a bye.

- Playoff with 4-player groups. Each round is played on a machine bank containing one modern Stern game, one Bally/Williams 90s game and one Classics game. Best two players advance to the next round.

- Both qualification and playoff through Next matchplay events.

- Side tournament is Pin-Golf in Pin-Master style.

- The weekend starts off with a warmup tournament on Friday night. More details will come in a separate thread with preregistration.

Write your tag, name and IFPA ID. You must pay the registration fee in advance to secure your spot in the tournament. When we have received the payment, your name will be followed by “PAID”. Note! Players on the alternate player list must also pay the fee in advance to have a chance to get a spot in the tournament (of course we make a refund if there is no spot available).


PAYMENT

Pay no later than 29 March via international bank transfer, BIC: HANDSESS, IBAN: SE18 6000 0000 0004 5996 8688. State your tag, name and IFPA ID. After 29 March a player who has not paid will be replaced with a player from the alternate list who has paid. No refund after 29/3.

Det är mycket glädjande att se det stora intresset att vara med i LPA Open. Reservlistan har växt sig väldigt lång så därför utökar vi tävlingen till 120 spelare. Glöm inte bort att betala avgiften innan den 31/3. OBS! Gäller även er som befinner er på reservlistan.

A final reminder that the registration fee must be paid no later than March 29. It also includes players on the waiting list. After March 29 a player who has not paid will be replaced with a player from the waiting list who has paid.
