"You are warmly welcome to the Dutch Pinball Open of 2023, taking place on November 18th and 19th. This edition boasts an impressive lineup of 200 pinball machines. The majority of them are set to 'free play,' allowing enthusiasts and newcomers alike to enjoy endless games. Additionally, we have a small selection reserved exclusively for the competitions. Will you join us in the quest to become the best pinball player in the Netherlands? Or simply drop by to have a fun time flipping? We also have various shops where you can purchase manuals, parts, and other pinball-related items. Each year, we invite industry experts to share their insights, and once confirmed, we will announce them here. In short, there's plenty for everyone to do and enjoy at the Dutch Pinball Open!
What can you expect to find?
·Around 200 pinball machines, all set to 'free play'
·The main tournament (open registration, anyone can participate) with an international field of participants
·Various side games, such as the classics tournament, youth tournament, ladies tournament and second change SWISS
·Lectures
·Dealers
Main Tournament
The main tournament can accommodate a maximum of 192 players.
Qualification
On Saturday, players can qualify in 4 time slots
Slot 1 10:00 - 12:30
Slot 2 12:30 - 15:00
Slot 3 15:00 - 17:30
Slot 4 17:30 - 20:00
We will try to accommodate the preferred time slot as much as possible when assigning the schedule. In case of deviations, timely contact will be made.
Up to 48 players can participate in each time slot. Each time slot consists of 4 groups of a maximum of 12 players. In each group, all participants play against each other, with the highest-ranked player based on the IFPA ranking as of January 11, 2023, playing second. The top 4 players from each group qualify for the Sunday finals. There are no byes in the first round on Sunday. In the event of a tie, the head-to-head result is considered first. If that does not provide a clear outcome, a shoot-out on one machine will follow, designated by the tournament officials.
Final Rounds
Played with 4 players on 3 machines.
Top 1 and 2 advance.
In the event of a tie, a shoot-out on one machine will follow, designated by the tournament officials.
Continue until Final 4 with same format.
Classics
Qualification:
Qualification takes place on Saturday from opening until 19:00.
Each ticket (€15) allows play on 10 machines.
Top 16 players advance to the finals.
Final Rounds:
16 participants
Starts at 20:30
4 groups of 4 players. Played on 3 machines per group.
Top 1 and 2 players advances until Final 4 on 3 machines.
Prices in the main tournament
1st prize: gold pinball statue and a cheque for € 450,-
2 nd prize: silver pinball statue and a cheque for € 250,-
3 rd prize: bronze pinball statue and a cheque for € 100,-
Classic Match
1st price: silver pinball statue and € 250,-
2 nd price: € 150,-
3 rd price: € 100,-

·Sunday Admission (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM): € 22.50
·Weekend Admission: € 45.00
·Main Tournament Entry: € 27.50 (excluding admission) 192 tickets available. There will be a wailting list when all places are filled.
·Classics Tournament Entry: € 15.00
·Package Deal 1 (presale only, before October 1st): weekend admission + special DPO shirt + poster: €75.00;
·Package Deal 2 (presale only, before October 1st): weekend admission + main tournament entry + special DPO shirt + poster: € 100.00
·Children up to 12 years old: € 7.50 per day or € 10.00 for the weekend. Accompanied by an adult (maximum 3 children per adult). Children must purchase a child ticket!
·Pre-registration for tournaments closes on Friday, November 10th at midnight. If not sold out, registration for the main tournament is also possible at the door, and registration for other tournaments at the start of the respective tournament."
